Garden quilts
the whole quilt with the morning glory border
Lots of bugs in my garden, mostly William Morris fabrics in the background and borders hand quilted
Monarchs and dragonfly
Bees and spider the web is hand quilting using a silver thread
Butterfly, frog and caterpillar
The little details in this quilt made it a great "eye spy" quilt when my children were small.

Monarch Butterfly Migration

Their colors are bright and their wings are not tattered as they begin their journey south.
I found a small group resting for the night in an ash tree. Every time a new butterfly landed their wings all fluttered.

the most blooms in one spot this morning
Pieced morning glory using "tri rec" tools and half square triangles
Neither photography nor watercolor can capture the true color of the heavenly Heavenly Blue
