No deadlines just dry crunchy leaves on the trail. DD and I drove to Camden State Park in Minnesota Sunday afternoon because the sunny warm days are coming to an end. Snow is forecast the end of the week. There were still some pretty orange and yellow leaves on the trees but most were on the ground. The leaves in my neighborhood were probably prettier because many Autumn Blaze Maples (below) have been planted, this year the reds and red oranges were spectacular. It was a fun afternoon and we hiked a couple miles. —Ann—

It's nice that you were able to get one last hike in before snow. I'm not ready for winter!
Sounds like a fun walk! Lots of leaves falling here, it's it's supposed to get colder on the weekend. Snow is predicted for the mountain passes here, too.
