The gloves are locally grown and spun Alpaca yarn, I'm going to be getting more of that yarn they felt like a dream. The mittens are alafosslopi yarn and I used a double strand because it was not as bulky as the Swedish Lovikka yarn.
And sweater for darling husband, always the goof in front of the camera, I got the deer in the headlights look instead of the turning his head or if we had been outside the slipping his cap down look. It wasn't finished before Christmas but I put it in a box and wrapped it anyway. The kids gave him a hard time about knitting it himself. He has worn it everyday since I finished it and we are not disagreeing about the setting of the thermostat.
There are snowflakes in the air again. The weekend forecast is perfect for hunkering down to knit a little, quilt a little and read a little or a lot. Everyday is a snow day here on the prairie --Ann---

For the moment I thought you were doing 4 socks at a time on one needle. Love the socks, mitts and sweater.
Both pairs of socks look good to me. I like that little black dot that showed up next to the yellow. You are lucky that your husband loves his sweater. It looks like it would be really warm and comfortable. We are getting an ice storm here this weekend. Sure wish I could knit myself a sweater, but I'll settle for getting a pair of socks finished. Have a good weekend and stay warm.
Several pair of socks going at once is the norm, isn't it?? Your gloves and mittens look so warm! Love your husbands sweater. I'm the one always freezing in my house! Happy weekend!
I have nearly worn out my socks that look like your gray striped ones. And I love the bright colors in the ones with yellow. You are lucky your husband is willing to wear what you make him. Mine just insists that the two sweaters he owns are plenty from here to the grave as he seldom wears a sweater.
Love the socks...need to play with that slip stitch idea. And the sweater for your hubby is beautiful! And I love the gloves too... that's another project I want to try... so many ideas!!!
Awesome projects! Love the sweater, and I'll bet he does, too.
