- Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney 85 year old Lillian Boxfish goes for a walk on New Years Eve 1984 and reminices about her life in New York. A work of fiction but loosely based on the life of Maragaret Fishback who wrote ads for Macy's in New York City in 1930's and 40's . The writing was delightful I don't often underline passages in books but I did many times.

I've read Educated. That book was unbelievable. My niece went to Cambridge at the same time as the author and was acquainted with her, but didn't know her well. I just finished listening to two books by the same author and really enjoyed both. The author is Kim Michelle Richardson. The books were "The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek" and "GodPretty in the Tobacco Field". The first one was so good and the narrator was excellent. Right now I'm listening to "The Day the World Came To Town"... about Gander, Newfoundland and the planes that were diverted there on 9/11. Great so far.
