We got fresh snow on New Year’s Eve day like a clean sheet of paper to start the New Year. I slept like a teenager New Year’s Day how about you? I hope everyone had a happy New Year celebration. Happy can be a quiet celebration at home like so many nights the last two years I didn’t even have an adult beverage. I started reading The Rules of Civility by Amor Towles would you believe chapter one started with a New Years celebration? How odd is that to read about New Years Eve on New Years Eve? I think it’s going to be a very good story. Fresh snow like a clean sheet of white paper was gone when I looked out the window. All the neighborhood rabbits had a raucous party in my backyard there were tracks everywhere!! Now on to 2022................ Quilting, knitting, reading, coffee, walking, chocolate, sounds just like last year and the year before. But first take down the Christmas tree after I finish my coffee —Ann—

We had 60 degree temperatures yesterday and today we have 4" of snow of the ground. It's been a good day to stay inside and sew. :) Happy New Year!
Happy 2022! We got a new Amor Towles book for Christmas, too! Our hill is still icy, but we did get out for a short walk yesterday until it started to sleet. Cray weather!
