NYC

The Museum of Modern Art the fun functional things  this book lamp was so cool.  I remember my art professors saying form follows function and less is more.  So true of good design.

then on to the impressionist  I always thought Van Gogh's The Starry Night was large. Its only about 30 by 36 inches and the brush strokes were huge and lots of people to try to look around.

The Olive Trees by Van Gogh
Edvard Munch

Mondrian                                                                          Picasso
Lunch at the Hello Deli made famous by David Letterman most of the sandwiches were named for his cast and crew and current cast and crew of the late night TV shows.  I had the best cup of coffee there that came out of a bunn drip coffee maker!

Central Park

Then Rockefeller Center, they were zamboniing the ice, and to the top of the Rock.  We walked 8.5 miles that day on concrete.  Every joint in my body hurt.  --Ann--

You just needed your knitting needles while sitting in that chair. It looks so comfie! The museums in NYC are so wonderful. I was at the MET in January for a visit. My sister in law lives just outside of NYC, so we went in for the day.
